Corporis Medical is a medical device company that specializes in the development and commercialization of innovative medical devices. The company was founded in 2015 by Alexander Veenhof, a surgeon with a passion for technology. Thus, the ideas for our products stem from Dr. Veenhof’s experiences in the operating room, which are then translated into real-life solutions for the patients by our in-house engineers. From prototype to pre-clinical and clinical studies to commercialization, Corporis Medical delivers the complete product cycle.

Recent Financing Round: Series B Success
In our most recent Series B financing round, we successfully raised €4 million. This all-equity round also included the conversion of existing convertible loans. Led by Unorthodox Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Austin, Texas, the round saw participation from our existing investors, Brightlands Venture Partners and LIOF.
The funds will be used to support a Randomized Controlled Trial for Mediclose and to achieve clinical validation for the fully integrated Laprixa System. This investment marks a significant milestone in our journey to advance innovative medical technologies and enhance patient outcomes.
