Your role

In the position of Project Manager you are in the lead of the preparation, planning, coordination and evaluation of a project from product concept through commercialization. You will build and lead a small but multidisciplinary team composed of development engineers, QA officers and supply chain manger and ensure timely execution of project objectives from development review thru to market launch. You establish and assign team roles and responsibilities. To achieve project objectives you work with partners throughout the value chain to gain alignment and support, and you transfer product- and manufacturing processes to Operations, Marketing & Sales at product launches. Also, you develop comprehensive project plans and ensure projects are executed in compliance with regulatory requirements and Quality Management System requirements. Identifying the risks of the project and development of scenarios to mitigate these risks by defining corrective actions is part of your role. Additionally, you seek funding opportunities by writing and developing proposals to obtain public funds. You will provide direct and regular communication to senior management on progress, opportunities & issues.

Depending on your experience, mentality and results this role is a future management team position.

Your experience

·       Minimally MSc in Science /(Bio) Engineering or another relevant (technical / medical) field. PhD is a plus.

·       Previous experience in organization, management of complex projects.

·       Previous experience in (bio)medical domain.

·       Highly structured way of working, able to see the bigger picture and focus on both short-term and long-term results.

·       Excellent communication (written & oral) skills, both in English. Dutch is a bonus.

·       Strong people management skills.

·       Excellent time management & organizational skills

·       Analytical thinking & attention to detail
