Your role

In the position of Project Manager, you lead the preparation, planning, coordination, and evaluation of a project from product concept to commercialization. You will build and lead a small but multidisciplinary team composed of development engineers, QA officers, and a supply chain manger. They will assist you in ensuring a timely execution of the project objectives, from development review through to market launch. You will also be responsible for establishing and assigning team roles and responsibilities. To achieve project objectives, you will work with partners along the value chain to gain further understanding and support. You will then transfer product- and manufacturing processes to the operations, marketing, and sales departments at product launches. You will also be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans and ensure that projects are executed in compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management system requirements according to the ISO13485 standard. Furthermore, your role will require you to identify the risks of the project and develop scenarios to mitigate these risks by defining corrective actions. Additionally, you will gain experience in seeking funding opportunities by writing and developing proposals to obtain public funding. You will also be in direct and regular communication with senior management on your progress, opportunities, and issues.

Depending on your experience, mentality, and results in this position, this role can be a management team position.

Your experience

·       Minimally MSc in Science /(Bio) Engineering or another relevant (technical/medical) field. PhD in a related field is a plus.

·       Previous experience in the organization and management of complex projects.

·       Experience with manufacturing and injection molding is a plus.

·       Experience with ISO13485 QMS system is preferred.

·       Previous experience in (bio)medical domain.

·       Highly structured way of working, able to place this work into a larger context, and focus on both short-term and long-term results.

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Dutch is a bonus.

·       Strong team management skills

·       Excellent time management and organizational skills

·       Analytical thinking and attention to detail
