Prof. Dr. Miguel A. Cuesta

Prof. Cuesta is a GI-surgeon at U-Clinic and an Emeritus Professor of  GI-Surgery especially dedicated to Minimally Invasive Surgery at Vumc in Amsterdam. In his 30 years of experience as a Gi-surgeon, he has published over 300 papers, has written over ten book chapters and was the editor-in-chief of four books about minimally invasive approach of digestive cancer, upper GI cancer, and postoperative major complications.

Nicole Bouvy is a specialist in laparoscopic surgery with over 17 years of experience. Since 2014, she has also taken up a professorship in innovative surgical techniques at MUMC. With over 195 publications, she is a key opinion leader in the surgical world.
