This step forward is not just about getting closer to a finished product – it’s also about smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient design. The new Cartridge allows for re-use of a large part of the Mediclose System within the same surgical procedure, contributing to the reduction of medical waste and supporting circularity in surgical care.

We’re grateful to the team at Medanco for their ongoing support and for providing access to their cleanroom facility to bring this next step to life.

We’ll soon move on to final assembly, packaging, and sterilization at our partner Assut Europe, followed by critical validation testing to confirm performance and safety.
